The MBA of the Athens University of Economics and Business organized the – open to the public – conference re: Business (Reinventing Business) under the motto “Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Excellence”. More than 1500 top CEOs of international, successful start – ups and companiesgathered at Zappeion for an all – day conference, celebrating the 30 years’ anniversary of the most recognized post graduate program, in June 26th, 2015.

Ally, a strategic marketing and communications agency, was responsible for organizing and communicating the whole project.

24 speakers in 6 sessions, all speeches having different composition inside the sessions, raised important issues of business management, investments and entrepreneurship, referring – amongst others – to funds, social media networks and start – ups. Among the speakers were: Mr. Alexandros Angelopoulos, Vice President of Aldemar Group, Mr. Petros Kokkalis, co – founder of Aephoria, Mrs. Despoina Anastasiou, General & Country Manager for Dow Hellas A.E, Mrs. Natali Vagioni, CEO of Fresh Line, Mrs. Marielle Thomas, East Mediterranean Regional Director of Stanley Black and Decker, Mr. Alexandros Theodoridis, founder of BOROUME, Mr. Zooulis Mina, CEO of Athenian Brewery, Mr. Jan Versteeg, Netherlands’ Ambassador, Mr. Henri Malosse, President of European Economic and Social Committee, Mr. Spiros Kouvelis, President of Greek – Eurasian Business Council, Mr. Haris Oikonomopoulos, President of British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Konstantinos Sepetas, Sales and Marketing Director at Vikos, Mr. Michalis Tsaoutos, CEO of EPSA, Mr. Giorgos Kolliopoulos, founder and CEO of Speiron, Mr. Nikos Koutsianas, CEO of Apivita, and many more very remarkable speakers, who analyzed all modern trends of the market.

Mr. George Logothetis’ speech and presence, President and CEO of LIBRA Group, in the graduation ceremony of the MBA was also very impressive.

Many other activities took place at Zappeion in the context of the conference, which were aiming in the interaction of the delegateswith the academia, as well as in promoting the history of the University’s MBA. In addition, a small tavern was set up by Ouzo Archontiko and Ellinikon restaurant, which impressed the attendants and was very much discussed among them.

This celebrational day closed with the graduation ceremony of that year’s MBA students and a cocktail party at Zappeion.
